The processing of angle and flat bar has been made easy through the use of our 2 Peddinghaus anglematic machines, the 2 punch 623M and the 4 punch 645M. Our 623M machine allows us to use up to 2 different punches at one time, one for each leg. Our 645M expands its possibilities by allowing the use of up to 4 different punches at one time, with two for each leg.
Both our machines are capable of the following angle and flat bar sizes:
|Minimum Angle Size:||Maximum Angle Size:|
|1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/16"||6" x 6" x 5/8"|
|Minimum Flat Bar Size:||Maximum Flat Bar Size:|
|1-1/2" x 3/16"||6" x 5/8"|
All material may have a maximum stock length of up to 40'. Please note that the processing of angle produces a minimal drop of 8" off of each stick, this drop is required to allow machine to hold onto the material. Flat bar does not require a drop to be cut from each stick as it is necessary to cut the sticks to length, by the process of saw cutting, before processing through our anglematics. Our machines require that flat bar be a minimum length of 73" before being processed through our anglematics, if your desired parts are smaller than this we offer the option to have the sticks saw cut to length, and the holes punched in our iron worker.
We offer a wide array of punch sizes and shapes including but not limited to: round, square, obround, and hexagonal. The maximum punch size we can use is a 1-1/4" dia.
As an option, we have limited capabilities to process channel through our machines. For more information regarding this processing option, please contact our Sales and Estimating Department.
